This post is both a reminder for those that have been following my articles and for those just discovering this blog 'it's a heads up'. The holidays are looming, there are just 26 days left before Santa arrives. The majority of us are gonna be rushing around shopping, so why not make the most of it.
Shop online, and save time, gas, money and promote and support your own personal mall, all at the same time. I belong to a program that I am convinced is simply awesome and I know that it will lead to well deserved earnings for me. What it does is simply makes the most of something that many of us are doing anyway ... and that's shopping on the internet.
It costs absolutely nothing, now or anytime in the future to be a member. However, anything that you or your downline purchases leads to earnings that will be credited to your paypal account. And gosh, during this time of the year, just think of the potential for earnings.
Visit this site, view the presentation ... it just really makes sense ...

-Employers Identification Number [EIN]
As an affiliate of any online program, you are working for a company as an independent contractor. Subsequently taxes are not being withheld ... that's totally your responsibility. However the money that you will be earning from the various programs that you are connected with, will be reported to the government using the Tax ID# that you supplied these businesses with.
To all of my fellow 'building a business on the net hopefuls', take a few moments and sign-up for an employers identification number - EIN. [US citizens only] I just recently got one, I wish I knew about this a year ago. Now, I no longer have to leave my SSN all over the net, and it only takes moments to get one. And after getting one, I felt as though I had actually taken a leap forward in reinforcing my online privacy.
You can either obtain one ONLINE or by calling 800-829-4933, and within minutes you will have it. Come on guys/gals just follow this link: EIN

-First Impressions
Now let me tell you a little bit more about me...I am a diehard 'frugal fillie'. And I just live for a sale, I get really excited when I see a 'clearance sign' anywhere. Oh, and don't let me just happen to pass a new and never before explored thrift store, it immediately becomes a mandatory stop. So no matter what I'm doing, a few moments just have to be taken so that I can peruse and explore the shop. And oh, does this little head start to spin when I see a 75% off sale. I am like a child that has been released, with a parents blessing of course, in FAO Schwartz.
So, when I seen this web address www.SecondAct.com I could hear the little voices calling, I just knew there was a bargain to be had. When I clicked over to the site, it really wasn't what I was expecting, however I wasn't ... not even for a second, disappointed at what I found.
They had sales guys/gals, on electronics...flat screens, plasmas, entertainment systems, cappuccino makers and much much more. And there is a Deal of the Day everyday, where even more is taken off of the already reduced price for a full 24 hours.
I am also into recycling and reusing , and that's what's happening at this website, the items that are available have either been refurbished or were overstock or even closeouts. And they have been given a second chance.
Great site, great stuff ... just take a look see ...
-The Holidays Continued
Earlier I had mentioned that the 'Holidays' are approaching, well, that's no longer true. The holidays are here. In a few days it will be Thanksgiving and in 42 days from today, it will be Christmas.Years ago, I always enrolled in an annual Xmas Club program. I don't know why I stopped doing that ... but it would be awfully nice to have that check to look forward to. But these are the days of the internet, and if you are a little short of funds for the holidays, the internet is here to Rescue You.
Did you know that you can apply for a short-term loan online, you don't need to visit a bank, or visit one of those storefronts that offer payday loans. You don't have to stand on any line, furthermore this is the age of No Fax Payday Loans, this can be an absolutely paperless transaction, that can be submitted in minutes. Not hours, just minutes. And you can have an answer in as little as 24 hours.
All you have to do is apply online, today ... right now ... and possibly by tomorrow, you can have that extra cash that you need for the holiday's, deposited right into your checking account. What a hoot, it is just too simple.
-Christmas Bells Are Calling
Luckily for us, we have the internet and just imagine the amount of time, gas and stress we can save by spending a little time narrowing down that list by shopping right here, right now. The sky's the limit or should I say the marketplace here is limitless.
Not only can you save money by using the net instead of running from mall to mall, but you can also find awesome bargains at some sites and not only that but you can also make a much needed price comparison all in one spot. For instance kids and young adults are just mad for anything computer related, Wii's, MP3's, games and accessories for the consoles etc., what if you could find an incredible bargain, and know that the price you are paying is the best online. Or what if you are in the market for a Home Entertainment System, you know exactly what you want, but you just gotta find the absolute best price. Well like I said, you are in the right spot, the web and I know the place to satisfy all those little quirks, concerns and you will Save Buckets to boot, 'whoops' that's the name of the site ... SaveBuckets.
Enjoy the Season All ...
-Now What To Get Mom...Hmmm
Do you know someone like this? They have so many photo's on their walls, that the photo's could easily be mistaken for wallpaper. Every free table space is utilized to display an endless flood of framed pictures. Or a person that has an uncanny knack for seemingly knowing when new photo's are 'out and about'. If you do, than you have definitely met 'my mom'.
She is an incurable 'fotofanatic', and it gets worse, she has a host of albums, that she has within easy reach that she will surround you in at the first available opportunity that opens during any and all visits. This is definitely her passion because she never tire's of collecting photo's of all of our family members ... she just shines when she gets her little mitts on a new one.
So, what am I thinking of getting her for Christmas, really this is just such an easy choice for me and she will be tickled pink; this will leave her bubbling for weeks on end; the family and anyone else that calls her will hear about this present that I am considering for untold months to come. What is it, well, some of yall may have guessed and for those that haven't, I will give you a break and 'cut to the chase' ... a picture frame but just not any frame ... a digital frame .
And what will this mean to her collection? She will now have an animated photo album, a frame that can store a host of photo's, this digital photo frame has memory and can constantly by uploaded with additional photo's. And there is more, you can also display short video clips with sound! OMGosh, I can see her sitting in front of this digital picture frame for hours, and the best part is that it has a remote control. She will ABSOLUTELY flip!
And technology is such a BLAST, I can simply let these fingers of mine do the shopping and within days, I will be wrapping the ULTIMATE 'mom gift'. And I know just where to find this perfect mom present, the only problem will be deciding on which frame, the best size and oh, what color ... to give her. But I have a few days to make my final decision, cuz DigitalFramez has next day delivery. But there is just one more thing I have to consider, if I order before the first of December, I will get 5% off the purchase price. The perfect present, that can be ordered online and shipped tomorrow, hmmm ...
OK, I guess mom is done ... who's next ...
-The Office Continued
But I have been there and done that for more years than I care to remember. And wherever I was no matter what I did I always wanted something that was a little bit more about me. When you work for someone else, that's it, you are working for someone else. Everything that happens within those parameters are structured towards the success of that business. I was always that replaceable cog, a disposable part ... I just wanted something more from what I was doing, something was always missing.
I think I have found, wait ... let me expand on that statement, I have found what completes that equation right here. I don't mind putting in the hours, I have no complaints about the need for working a little over-time. Now, I always get rewarded for a job well done, because I always make sure that I find a little special treat just for me, that I serve to me at the end of the day.
I don't have to wade through a smoke screen to get at what the truth is or wonder whether I have been deceived yet another time ... not in my office, the cards are unmarked and on the table and I control the DECK!
Yep, I like it here ... and I think I am gonna stay ...

-My UK Journal...Book I
I think if I sat down and started writing about the places worldwide that I would like to visit during my life...I just might spend the rest of my life writing. There are so many place here in the US that I would just love to visit, for example I have been to California and spent time in L.A., but I didn't visit San Francisco or see the Golden Gate Bridge. I have driven throughout Virginia, but I have never seen the Blue Ridge Mountains. The same with Atlanta, have cruised through Georgia, however I have yet to visit the Underground.
No matter where you travel, each city has it's special little wonders that make the journey, no matter how long you had to endure the road trip or the flight, worthwhile. When and I do mean 'when' I visit the UK and London I just have to spent time around the Piccadilly Circus. I just have to be able to say, that I been there and stayed in one of the many Hotels in London not far from the Piccadilly Circus hub and that I spent a few days there shopping and touring.
And because I am a 'Dance Mom', for those of you that are not familiar with the term,
I am one of the thousands of moms that has hustled a child back and forth to dance classes for years on end. And a byproduct of that experience has produced a woman that greatly loves the arts. And visiting Birmingham and watching any type of performance in the Hippodrome would be a dazzling event. As a child our neighborhood movie theatre's were all grandiose and ornate, very few are these days, if any. It is said that Birmingham is the birthplace of 'heavy metal' and that Judas Priest and Black Sabbath are locals. I don't follow 'heavy metal', but that is just a morsel from a batch of choices ... Birmingham has much to offer 'lovers of the arts'. It's reputed that the theatres there number in the double digits, the biggest problem you will have in locating entertainment is making a selection from your list. And as far as accommodations go, there are more than a 1000 of both Hotels in Birmingham and other properties to choose from...And during thi
s time of the year, I would think the place to be is Manchester they have a Christmas Market that is considered one of the best in the UK and Europe. Now that is definitely a place that I would just love to spend time. Manchester is also an important commerce centre, and because of that it not only attracts tourist but business visitors as well, so Hotels in Manchester and new lodgings are popping-up continuously.Well, that's it for now but I am going to continue my research of the UK, I just gotta be ready for the trip there ... more updates later though ...
-Have You Ever Seen ...
20th-November, 2007
OMGosh, today I came across, this really incredible site and it not only got my 'gears a crankin' but I became really anxious to share what I discovered with everyone. Many of us have a really good idea of the places that we would like to visit. We may have seen pictures, or have friends that have visited these spots or maybe we have even seen a documentary and after viewing it we became hooked. We knew that we just had to visit that particular city, museum or mountain range or whatever. Well, if you think about it, that really isn't that much to go on. I know that the travel agent will become the trip planner and give us plenty of information about where we have decided to visit, but that is still going to be a fairly surface outline.
Wouldn't it be great if you could get actual feedback from not just a couple of people that have visited but feedback from many people that have taken a trip to, oh ... let's say Easter Island. Wouldn't you want to be more aware of the 'do's and don't's' that maybe even the standard travel agent wasn't aware of. Wouldn't you want your trip planner to be a little more in touch with what you should expect from this little spot that you are visiting. Let's take it up another notch, what about connecting with a blogging community of travelers that share info about their trips.
And then what about visiting locations that are lesser known, but
have just as much history and importance as some of the well traveled spots. Have you ever heard about UNESCO World Heritage Site, well this site has a list of all those less frequented treasures, that are equal in beauty to let's say maybe the Hawaiian Island's or Niagara Falls. Well, this site that I visited has it all. You can even create a free travel blog, where friends and relatives can visit and follow what trips and adventures you have taken; what you did while you were there and even view all the pictures that you took. And if you are thinking about a trip planner, this site was voted 'The Best of Web for Trip Planning' by Business Week. You just gotta see this site it is simply 'AMAZING'.
-Do You Need Credit?
For most of us, just consolidating the balances on our credit cards, and obtaining a loan at a lower interest rate would be the key to recovery. But there you go, your credit scores are low, you can't get a loan and the interest rates on your credit cards are sinfully high ... and so what happens ... we continue to fall deeper into the 'credit card interest rate abyss'.
But hey, there is a bright side, I know what you are saying ... 'what is this delusional girl talking about, there isn't a bright side, all I can see is falling deeper into 'the hole of debt'. Well, I found this place that's focused on finding the credit card lenders, home refinance lenders and auto lenders that are accepting folks that are listed as 'bad credit risks'. Guess what you don't have to spend hours on the net, or numerous visits to banking institutions and lending agents, this site has that LIST.
Wow, wouldn't it be great to start the year off, with that new car that you really desperately need or refinancing your home mortgage and even having enough left to give your house the paint job that it needed.
Well, search no more, HERE in the place that has the list of institution that accept and welcome folks with 'bad credit'. Who knew ...

-To the newcomers, newb's and newbies
So, you are just starting out ... a bit overwhelmed ... although, anxious to get that ball rolling. But you don't know where to start, who to ask questions, and what questions should you be asking.
Well, everyone online has at one point been exactly where you are, I was there exactly one year ago, and in that year I have learned that there aren't any instant answers. It takes time, you gotta get your feet wet, you have to study hard, and 'never give up ... never surrender' [remember the quote from that movie]. This is hard work, expect it and accept it. But it can be extremely gratifying also, each and every little thing that you learn daily, consider it another milestone placing you a step closer to where you ultimately want to be. Always congratulate yourself on your accomplishments, enjoy your own successes, don't expect anyone that's not in this game to really understand how it's played.
Now, consider the internet your instructor, professor and online mentor. OMGosh can you imagine you have millions of teachers. Luckily you can steamline and filter that staggering number down, rather quickly. You can pigeon hole that number down to what your interest are and then go from there.
Seek out forums that deal with topics, that center around your interest. If you have questions, forums are where you will find those answers ... And lets not for a moment overlook blogs. Many blogs are created by people that really want to share their experiences with you, you can discover the most amazing things by way of blogs and bloggers. And there are also social networking sites, many people have preconceived idea's about what happens in such places, but I have learned you can gather beneficial lessons from wherever you tread on the net. However, make sure you allot a designated amount of time to spend at these sites, it's very easy too spend much more time with these groups than you really should, so set limits and stick to them.
Below I have listed a few links to some of my favorite forums, this will give you a starting point, and since you are here visiting my blog, you must have found your way into the 'bloggers realm'. So enjoy the journey ... it's like nothing you have ever experienced before...

-Home Again, Home Again
And technology has reached a point, that most of the things that you enjoy you can access from your home. How many people would have thought 40 years ago that you would ever have been able to watch movies from your van, the first question they would have probably asked is 'what is a van'; or talk on a phone that's smaller than the palm of your hand in the middle of 5th Ave in New York City. Well, all of that has happened.
Today, I visited a site that's called the 'top usa online casinos', and you guessed it ... it has a listing of some of the best, most reputable and paying ... Online Gambling Destinations. This site that had this directory was easy to navigate, and at first glance I was actually able to follow the sites set-up, you won't need a MBA in order to use this system. The colors are complementary and easy on the eyes, nothing flashing or blinking, no video's or music blaring.
On the home page each Casino is listed and what's offered and what's needed in order to play at the Casino's is broken down in an easy to follow format. And from there home page you can access each Casino, as simple as 1-2-3.
In order to be considered one of the Top 10 sites, each destination had to offer outstanding customer support, frequent payout rates, ease of use and Vegas Style graphics. And each of the listed sites has numerous games to choose from, there is no way you could ever claim that you got bored.
And the best part, all of this from the comfort of your home.

-Feeling A Little Tired Today
What I wouldn't give for a little break right now. I'm not talking about a 30 minute reprieve, I am thinking more along the lines of a short trip ... one or two weeks, that would be just what both my mind and body could use. Somewhere that has a little sand and sun, with an occasional breeze, and spectacular ocean views from every room of my villa. I just couldn't ask for anything more. And if all of my meals were prepared and served to me, that would truly be a dream come true.
Or even spending a few days visiting with the Queen and strolling through Trafalgar Square and the Piccadilly Circus, or just viewing the Buckingham Palace would be such an incredible escape. London hasn't abandoned the magnificent buildings of the past and replaced them with the sleek, slim and trim building of today. I could easily spend hours taking photo's of all of those magnificent structures.
Now, all I would have to do to make this happen, is just a click away. Oh, so tempting, but maybe next time...
